Jon Hamm, The New Yorker, & a little Abed to brighten your day

This is excellent:

Lena Dunham (HBO’s Girls) produced this short ad for The New Yorker’s new iOS app. And oh, the layers of irony: Jon Hamm – Mr. Mad Man himself – portraying a fake, smarmy media-man in an actual ad.

Talk about meta – Abed would be pleased (see 1:45).

On a personal note, it concerns me how well Jon Hamm plays smarmy.
